Description: In Vodou or voodoo, Baron Samedi is one of the aspects of Baron, a loa of the dead. Baron Samedi stands at the crossroads, where the souls of dead humans pass on their way to Guinee.
This interpretation began with fragments of a picture I took of St. Pat's Cathedral in New York. I blended that with elements from an actual x-ray. The hair braids and tips also derived from the church photo.
